We were plagued with some technical issues at launch of Secret Neighbor, and that's now been solved - try it out in GamePass on Xbox, there's an ARG that thousands of fans have been trying to crack for 10 days now. What happened after the original released is a series of books, and 2 follow-up games (Hello Neighbor: Hide and Seek and Secret Neighbor) which follow the books' narrative. The game's primary story takes place on a deeper level, not initially visible to the players, and that's a major reason why it blows everyone's minds who's "in on it". The second, deeper level, is the lore and the AI. Then double click on HelloNeighborReborn icon to play the game. This is what players initially fall in love with. The original has 2 layers to it - there's the actual game that you can beat from A to Z, that has a story and everything. Whereas the actual fans, which are typically younger, went nuts for it. Play with good stereo.Producer of the game here, and you're absolutely right about the critical reception part - nobody "got" the game in the same way the Witcher is getting bashed by the media. Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system.
